PC99 NOTES

by Ted Peterson
This program transfers programs and files from the TI home computer to the PC type of computer. This is a group of small items that works with this program. There will be new items added each week. By 7-8 we will have a article on how to transfer TI programs from your TI to your PC.
.
BOOT (MENU)
There are a number of different versions of the "Boot" program for the TI.
I transferred my main Boot program with TI-Base, BA Writer, etc. on it but without the TI Base program on the Boot list. It works OK but when I tried to SAVE the change to the Boot program it would not save.
I then transferred another version over to the pc and overwrote the first one. This new version would save like it should.
Try your copy and if it does not work, try another version.
The "Menu" program is the same program as "Boot". It will come with your copy of ram disks
.
DM 1000
On some version of DM1000 you can only catalog one disk per time. If you try to catalog a 2nd disk it will not work. You have to go completely out and come back in again. With PC99 this will take almost no time.
.
Printing
When you ask the pc to print a file or program , the computer first has to go through the TI printing operation and then the PC printing operation. This will take from 10-20 seconds. Do not give up as it will work.
.
PC99 Stage 5 Program
